Arsenal want Chelsea to pay £35m for Giroud

The completion of Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang deal could see Olivier Giroud move to Chelsea for £35 million, according to the Daily Mail.

Giroud would head to Stamford Bridge if the Blues meet the Gunners' valuation of the Frenchman, who would be available to play in the Champions League.

For Dortmund's part, the Bundesliga outfit are said to be targeting former Koln striker Anthony Modeste as Aubemeyang's replacement at Signal Iduna Park.

Newcastle in Sturridge loan talks

Newcastle United are in talks to sign Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge on loan for the rest of the season, reports The Times.

Sturridge is looking to play regular first-team football ahead of the World Cup and the England international was a target for Inter Milan.

However, he could now join up with former Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez at Newcastle, who are likely to have to pay Sturridge’s £120,000-a-week wages and a £1.5 million loan fee.

No Man Utd exit thoughts for Mata

Juan Mata is happy at Manchester United and is not thinking about leaving the club following the signing of Alexis Sanchez.

The Spaniard is out of contract at the end of the season and has been linked with a return to Valencia, but United are expected to trigger a one-year option in his deal.

Batshuayi to join Dortmund on loan

Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi is to join Borussia Dortmund on loan as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang prepares to complete his move to Arsenal, according to Bild 

Arsenal have agreed a £55 million fee with Dortmund to sign Aubameyang and the Gabon international could finalise his transfer to Emirates Stadium on Monday.

Dortmund have been looking for a replacement and, after Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud decided to remain in England, the Bundesliga club have turned to Batshuayi.

Belgium international Batshuayi has acknowledged his future is in the hands of Chelsea boss Antonio Conte , but he looks set to head to Dortmund for the rest of the season.

PSG won't block Pastore exit

Paris Saint-Germain remain reluctant to part with Javier Pastore but will sanction a transfer if the terms are right, claims his agent.

The Argentine playmaker has been linked with a move away from Parc des Princes for some time now amid fierce competition for places.

Liverpool and Tottenham are reported to be interested in Pastore, but Inter Milan are favourites to agree a deal before the January transfer deadline.

Brandt deal to frustrate Liverpool & Barca

Julian Brandt is open to signing a new contract to commit his future to Bayer Leverkusen despite being linked to European giants including Barcelona, Liverpool and Bayern Munich. 

Germany international Brandt told Omnisport in October it was an "honour" to be linked with Barcelona , while Bayern hold a long-term interest in the 21-year-old.

But, with Leverkusen on track to return to the Champions League after finishing in the bottom half of the Bundesliga last season, Brandt could remain at the BayArena.

Musonda set to join Celtic on loan

Charly Musonda is having his medical with Celtic as he looks to complete an 18-month long loan move from Chelsea, Goal can confirm.

Celtic will beat a host of clubs to the 21-year-old midfielder, including Real Betis, Leganes and Nottingham Forest, whilst several unnamed English clubs were also thought to be interested.

Arsenal close in on £60m Auba signing

Arsenal are on the verge of signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund after the clubs agreed a £60 million fee in principle for the Gabon international, Goal understands.

Aubameyang, 28, has been subject of negotiations between the Gunners and Dortmund for several weeks, with Arsenal refusing to meet the Bundesliga side's £70m asking price.

Galatasaray could come back in for Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini before the close of the transfer window, reports theManchester Evening News .

Badou Ndiaye could be on his way out of the Turkish club after the Stoke City target was left out of Galatasaray’s squad to face Osmanlispor on Sunday.

If Ndiaye leaves, then Galatasaray are reportedly ready to make a fresh approach for Fellaini, who is out of contract at United at the end of the season. 

Man City ready to join £100m club amid Hazard links

Manchester City are ready to splash out £100 million on a transfer, with Chelsea winger Eden Hazard a potential summer addition.

Goal understands Pep Guardiola's side do have an interest in signing the Belgian although regardless of whether they manage to lure him to the Etihad Stadium, the club will eventually break the £100m barrier for a player.

Laporte set for Man City medical on Monday

Aymeric Laporte could be a Manchester City player as early as Monday, the Mirror reports.

The Athletic Bilbao defender has long been linked with a move to Pep Guardiola's side and is now said to have bid his Liga team-mates farewell ahead of a trip to Manchester to complete a medical.

Laporte, 23, who was left out of the Basque club's squad which drew 1-1 with Eibar on Friday, will cost City €57 million.

Ibrahimovic nears Galaxy move

The LA Galaxy are closing in on a move for Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to ESPN FC .

United's recent addition of Alexis Sanchez has further limited Ibrahimovic's prospects for playing time, opening up the possibility that the Sweden international will head to MLS.
